Captain’s Blog – MY Kalizma (August 2007)

Resignations:
Vivek Singh (C/Engr) has resigned at the end of his contract and left for better prospects. However, he will be on hand to do the sail back to India and the final hand over on appointment of the new Chief Engineer
Kevin  Adrian has completed his Master’s FG – Our congratulations to him. However, he has decided to rejoin his old company and go back to the main shipping lines

Ship’s Plans:
The yacht will be heading back to India around the end of September. Crew leaves are being completed and the boat being readied for the season

I have had a great month in Phuket. Played lots of golf, taking lessons at the Blue Canyon from Jeff and shooting good rounds
Joya was here for 10days (Aranya had gone to Goa with grandparents) and we went to every upmarket restaurant we could get to.
The picks were Du Maurizio where the chef made us a 7course dinner and Floyd’s at Burasari. We also made it to the Sunday brunch at Twin Palms

Getting down to do some planning for the trip back to India.
