Jari Lindgren, Captain
Jari, born in Turku, Finland, has been at sea for some 25 years and holds a STCW unlimited Master's licence and MCA CeC. He started in the Merchant navy and moved from there to Cruise ships. Jan 2002 he made a career move into yachting, starting with the conversion of m/y Turama. He has since sailed on various yachts around the world, specialising in cruising grounds around the Far East. He also holds a PADI rescue diver certificate.

Jari is multilingual and speaks English, Swedish, Finnish fluently and conversational Thai and Greek. 
Jari joined m/y Kalizma in May 2008 and is looking forward in welcoming the Owner and guests onboard.

Sunil Sharma, Chief Engineer
Holding a MCA Y3 Engineers license, Sunil has been on Kalizma for the past 6 years after retiring from the Indian Navy. With his experience, he brings to Kalizma all the required expertise to keep a 103 yr old Classic ticking.  Sunil is a native of Dehradun and he was closely involved in Kalizma’s refit in 2005

Richard Devakumar, Chef
Richard has been part of the yachting industry for over 15yrs looking after Owner’s and Guests.
He has been on Kalizma for the last 12 years and was an integral part of the successful charter seasons in the Mediterranean prior the yacht’s refit. He specializes in South Indian cuisine as he comes from Nagercoil. He is a keen learner and is now proficient in Thai, North Indian and Italian cuisine.

Imtisenla Amur, Stewardess
Hailing from Mokokchung, Nagaland Asen is bringing onboard her sparkling personality. She has also done her STCW basic training and KF academy course. Previously Asen used to work in admin positions in real estate, hospital and call centre but in 2007 she made a career move to m/y Indian Empress after being the Owner's personal stewardess. Asen joined m/y Kalizma in Feb 2010. Her hobbies includes cooking spicy food.

Kalpana Brahma, Stewardess
Born in Kohima, Nagaland in Oct 1984 with dreams to become a successful and independent woman. Kalpu has her Bachelor degree of Arts from Dimapur and also completed STCW and KF courses. She started as personal stewardess for the Owner in 2007 and in April 2009 she signed onto Kalizma. Kalpu is looking to learn new things and experiences. Her hobbies include fashion and sewing

Surender Saini, 1st Officer
Coming from Hariyana, Saini has joined Kalizma in 2007 after putting in 15yrs in the Indian Navy.
He is qualified as an air rescue diver and has completed his PADI certifications as a dive instructor.
He also has sailed the world in competition class Sailing Boats and has MCA OOW qualifications. 

Sandeep Dubey, Deckhand
Born in Tikulia, Sandeep has served 15 yrs in the Indian navy and is a qualified air rescue diver.
After doing a short stint in the Merchant Navy he joined Kalizma in Dec 2008. He also holds RYA Yachtmaster certificate.

Kamlesh Yadav , Deckhand
Kamlesh comes from Uttar Pradesh and joined Kalizma in 2007 and is now proving to be a great asset on board.
He is a keen learner and an excellent hand on the deck. He has also trained himself to interact with guests and help in serving them.
He has RYA powerboat certification too.
